A
message from Grand Master Chu Young Lee...
 |
My
staff and I are very pleased to have this opportunity
to introduce you to the art of Tae kwon do and
the school that has been a part of this community
for more than 25 years.
People
of all ages, from all aspects of life, come to
this school for various reasons. Here you can
expect to see a 70 year old with the heart of
an 18 year old just as you may see a 3 year old
boy with the spirit and determination of a grown
man.
We
strive very hard to offer a professional facility
and a complete program that pertains to both the
mind and body of each member. It is our goal to
pursue maximum results that both the member and
school can be proud of. Our staff instructors
are fully trained so that they understand the
individuals own unique needs. We offer numerous
courses depending on your goals and what you would
like to accomplish through the program. In any
case, we promise you that we will be there to
assist you both personally and professionally.
|
So,
go ahead, set your goals and start making changes in
your life for the better today. Make a commitment to
better yourself and do not allow others to influence
you otherwise. Surround yourself with people that are
positive and highly motivated like you. Of course, don't
forget to reward yourself for each accomplishment made
along the way.
Sincerely,
Grand
Master Chu Young Lee

Tae
kwon do is more than kicking and punching. It is designed
as a nonviolent art system of practice, and a way
of life. It includes physical and mental discipline
with a deep philosophy. Through the practice of Tae
kwon do, all practioners can benefit as follows:
Physically:
By developing good coordination and a strong body.
Mentally:
By building self confidence, gaining good judgement,
and developing a sound mind.
Philosophically:
By learning to respect others, help others, be honest,
and always stand by the weak. Thus it is a guide for
the formation of outstanding character, a modern world
sport, and a philosophy.
